How are you all in the world?
My name is Kyoichi Shimada and I'm the Representative of Cycling Holiday Tokyo(I don't do tour guides).
I established this organization in 2017 to convey the charm of Tokyo.
I've been traveling for nearly 30 years and have been making tours of Japanese people around the world.
Some of the most memorable trips I've made have been bicycle trips through cities and countryside.
Bicycling allows you to experience a lot of encounters and discoveries in a limited amount of time.And the locals were very kind to cyclists, so I had a great time interacting with them.
Therefore, we hoped that guests from overseas would have such a wonderful experience in Japan, and we launched Cycling Holiday Tokyo.
I want you to have the same wonderful experience as me in Tokyo.
But now, because of the COVID-19 , it is a shame that we will not be able to offer you the same wonderful experience.
I hope the day comes soon when the new COVID-19 infection is over and we can welcome back guests from abroad.
Our staff and I will be waiting for you until that day comes.

私はサイクリングホリデー東京の責任者の嶋田京一です。
東京の魅力を伝えるために、2017年にこの組織を立ち上げました。
私は30年近く旅行の仕事をしてきており、世界各地に向けた日本人のツアーを作ってきました。
その中でもっとも印象深かかったツアーは、自転車で都市や田舎を巡るツアーです。
自転車を使うと、限られた時間の中でたくさんの出会いと発見を体験できます。
そして、訪れる土地の人々は自転車の旅人にはとても優しく、素敵な交流ばかり体験できたからです。
そこで、海外から来るゲストにも、そうした素敵な体験を日本でしてほしいと思い、サイクリングホリデー東京を立ち上げました。
私と同じ素晴らしい体験を、東京でしてほしいからです。
しかし今、新コロナウイルス感染の影響で、皆さんにその素晴らしい体験を提供できないのが大変残念でなりません。
新コロナウイルス感染が終息し、また海外からのゲストが復活する日が早く来ることを心より願っています。
皆さんのお越しをそのときがくるまでスタッフとともにお待ちしております。
